The "garden villas" are great. Large with a separate lounge area. Very comfy beds. The rooms inside the main building are average though, poor soundproofing and looking pretty shabby already despite it being a relatively new hotel. The pool is small but adequate. There are almost no facilities at the hotel, no bar, no security etc but it's a very comfortable place to stay (my favourite in Lamai) if you get the garden villa.

The location is good, on a quiet street 5 minutes walk from the main intersection in town.

I will keep booking here during my stay in Lamai if the price remains so competitive for the garden villas

Seems appropriate to offer an alternate perspective on the hotel and Lamai given earlier reviews. The room was a pleasant surprise. Staff were pleasant and eager to please throughout my eight-day stay. Location is excellent for a stay before a cruise. I got a pretty cheap price for booking the room the night before.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 days during our trip. The rocks are easily avoidable and are well marked off. The location was perfect for what we were looking for. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the door*** with a warm welcome. The cleanliness of the hotel is all right.

Easily accessible to taxi from the hotel. As for us the location is great. The company we went with 'angthong discovery ' were excellent and i highly recommend you attend a full moon party. Lamaii beach is a dream come true. The coffee was particularly good. The people there were very nice.

It is located 7-10 minutes lazy walk till the beach (in front of Wantaa resort) and about 4-5 minutes till Lamai main street. The beach is clean and sandy. FamilyMart and 7eleven also some 3-5 minutes walk.
Bungalows and resort territory are well maintained and clean. You have feeling that it is newly built resort.
There was no quite Thailand feeling as there is literally no terrace at bungalows, which for us is as must. The outside seating spot is not covered from above- in case of rain you cannot sit there.

The dark spot outside the resort on the way to/from city was not so terrible as I thought by other reviews.
Even if bed was very tough, I liked it and we had no problems to sleep there.

The good:
- quiet place. You almost do not hear city sounds.
- very helpful and friendly stuff (even if only one lady spoke ok english). Always will try to assist you and solve any your problems or arrange any assistance possible.
- Possibility to arrange rental motorbike, car at reception. They will find whatever transport you like. And it will be fast and without any problems.
- Laundry service was exceptional. All was washed and dried well and fast.
- pool is helpful addition to the place.
- 2 TV in the bungalow.
- microwave and fridge in the room
- safe in the room. Even it was no feeling it is too seious safe, but at least you have some safety box, which is good.

Not so good:
- kitchen does not have any single plate, table set, mug, or alike. Nothing. So be prepared you will need to go shopping for all of it including spoons, forks etc.
- no place in kitchen where you can put stuff. Only table.
- ho hangers to hang the towels in the bathroom. The one which is in shower, makes towels wet after use.
- WiFi is almost useless. When it was working, it was slow and dropped all the time.
- if resort will be fully occupied, I believe there will not bee as quiet and nice in the pool as we had - there were almost no guests.

In conclusion I would say that if there would be terraces for bungalows, this place would be higher rated by me and I would definitely return here next time.
Currently, I would book this place in case there would not be better option.

As reported the hotel is new and the quality of the finish in the rooms and around the hotel generally is very good. The area is great for visiting around. Transportation to the city and touring is just around the corner. The people in the hotel were very helpful and polite.

Location is perfect 10 minutes walk to beach, bars and restaurants even closer. We were initially hoping to rent a private villa but it was far too expensive so we opted for i samui due to good reviews. Me and my boyfriend can take a joke but this was clearly about us and was very unprofessional.
