When reviewing dive operators in 2021, I could not find anyone better than scuba birds to get me through my open water certification. Prior to making the reservation, I spoke with Dimitry at length as I was nervous in doing scuba the first time. Dimitry set my mind at ease, he picked me up at the dock, took me to my hotel, then the scuba office where I met Rich, my five instructor. Over the next three days Rich took me on a series of dives, his calm demeanor helped me go through the processes of certification.

Thank you Rich and thank you Dimitry is helping me achieve my goals.

I really enjoyed my day of scuba diving.

Dominik my guide was very friendly and taught me the basics of safe diving. He was very professional and he made me feel confident.

In this initiation, two dives were planned in Koh Toa, we were able to enjoy the see life of the island.

Side note: my hotel was on Koh Samui and all transfers were included in this scuba diving discovery package (shuttle from-to hotel, speedboat from-to Koh Samui).

In short, a very nice experience, with a nice price that I highly recommend.

Dmitry organised a day trip from Koh Samui to Koh Tao for scuba diving and it was amazing. My best experience in Thailand !! Nelly was our instructor and she was perfect. We immediately felt well with her and she explained every thing very clearly. We went 12 meter deep and saw beautiful coral, fish and ray ???????? more over this was less expensive than the others companies in koh samui.

Thank you for everything !! This is a must do !!

This was my first time ever diving, and I'll level with you, I am terrible at it! Our instructor "Said"(not sure if that's the right spelling but a ukranian fella) was absolutely amazing. He could see I wasn't comfortable but took me round like a pro. Fantastic site with great people! Highly reccomend!!!!

I did my first dive (EVER) with Scuba Birds, and I'm so glad I picked them to start with. My instructor, Nelly was absolutely fantastic. She was patient while teaching the material, she answered all my questions, and kept me completely calm underwater. My boyfriend was diving with me (although he's certified) and there was one instructor for each pair of divers, so essentially I had a personal trainer (woot woot)! The whole experience was smooth sailing, right from booking the dive with Kamilla to our transfer back to Koh Samui from Koh Tao. They fed us delicious sea food fried rice on the boat, and even taught us about the aquatic life in the area where we dived (Japanese Garden and The Twins). Oh, and when we left to catch the ferry back at the end of the dive, we forgot our GoPro on the boat in all the excitement, and our instructor Nelly actually ran all the way to the pier to return it to us, so our memories would be intact. I really can't thank Nelly and Scuba Birds enough for making the experience so wonderful, so memorable and so special for us.

Prior to booking, we checked out a bunch of other PADI certified diving schools in Koh Samui. Most of them were unnecessarily expensive - they claim to charge more for the experience but honestly, the experience is practically the same with all the companies in Koh Tao. Scuba Birds offered us a package for two people that was significantly less than its competitors. And worth every penny!

I bought the beginners package for my husband and he had I great time! I went with him and I could watch to whole experience. Dimitri is a great instructor and even this being completely new for him, he felt safe and could enjoy every moment. Thank you all for the great experience!
