The hotel is a little bit far from the main part of village, but its localization is definitely worth it since the first glimpse through the entrance doors. The view is incredible, placement and design of the pool is the best I have seen so far. Whole architectural style of the hotel is very interesting and eye-catching.
I've stayed in one of the bungalows and its functional design was one of the best surprises in my Thailand experience in general. Its big bath tube, with amazing view through the only, enormous window and rooftop with jaccuzi are things to be missed after getting back from Thailand.
The food itself was great, but personally I think it could be a little bigger. The personnel was very helpful and nice throughout the stay.
Small tips/infos:
1. Its good to negotiate the prices of taxis back to the hotel - the smallest we payed to get back from Fishermen Village (cool place to spent some time in evenings) was 300 Bahts for taxi (around 10 dollars) but its possible to get better, lower price.
2. If You want to eat good, mostly local, food, go to the small market, going from hotel turn right in main street, near 7eleven, and go about 150 meters straight.
3. Take a lot of sun cream, use it a lot and avoid going out around noon without protection. Your skin will really appreciate that.
