This is perfect if you only want / have time for a short cooking class. The male teacher had a great sense of humour and was very informative. The food was extremely tasty, especially the dessert.

WARNING: Tourist trap!!

This is not a school, it's a persons house. The class happens in their backyard, kids and dogs and cats running around the whole time...

Cooking is disappointing, he does most of it you just watch. The 'students' do things like dicing chicken and carrots and put them in a bowl, he does the rest. Very little actual cooking... None in fact.

Classes can accomodate 10 at a time, the school 'accidentally' booked 20 people and suggested we try 'sharing' cooking stations. "Oops! No refunds!"

Also class is an hour long, not 3 so be ready for that. Started 45 minutes late...

Cost is 1500 baht per person, honestly I don't like to slag this guy because he clearly supports his family with this business but save your money. Really, really disappointing.

Did not have a good day. Don't go here!
We were not welcomed warmly and the chef Dave (where's Chanita?) first asked if we paid the money. He did most of the cooking and talked very degenerating towards us. We were done whitin an hour and he made our desert when we were eating. He would show us later he told us, but instead just said how its done. Not even on the recepylist we got. Taxi was already ordered back so we could take of as soon as we were done eating. Didnt even include 1 drink.. 30bath for 1 water. He blamed his boss for that???
We are very dissapointed.

Disappointing. The cooking class is in someone's lived in house overlooking bush (no mountainside view and no birds chirping as advertised). Cook was rude and kept emphasising on how thai food cooking is not how non-thai people cook it. The cooking class doesn't include trip to market. It involves chopping vegetables and cooking thai style food using ready made red curry paste. The whole thing takes less than 1 hr. Got charged for bottles of water as well on the day.

Relatively short cooking class but really informative and our teacher was very nice and knew a lot about food. The food was delicious and the banana with coconut milk for dessert was delicious.

Avoid. Finished after 1h. Had to pay extra for bottle of water. Rude chef. Not had a good time.

Enttäuschend!! Der Koch war unfreundlich und macht die gesamte Zeit den Eindruck, keine Lust zum Kochen zu haben. Er eilt durch die Gerichte durch, so dass man binnen einer Stunde mit allem fertig ist. Den Nachtisch bereitet er allein zu, während man noch am Tisch beim Essen ist. Das ganze findet in seinem eigenen Haus statt. Ich rate davon ab, diesen Kurs zu buchen. Man wird nur enttäuscht. 2 Sterne gibt es fürs leckere Essen.
