The Beach Village

Customer service is good, but the wooden bungalows are terrible. It's either too hot or too windy inside because there is no AC, holes in between doors and roofs so gekkos, snakes and mosquitoes have free access indoors, toilet/shower looks dirty and there is no water heater. Water is constantly yellow because all the pipes are old. Because building has no noice isolation at all, every night you will hear all the bass from the nearby party hostel, rain and wind make nice loud sounds as well. Oh, and I could hear my neighbour bungalow's couple having sex.

On top, during high season the price is very high for something so bad.

Do not stay here. It looks nothing like the pictures you’ve seen. It feels like an abandoned place. There are bugs and mosquitoes everywhere. The rooms are absolutely not worth the price. The bed was very uncomfortable and there were no bedsheets, just a tiny blanket full of holes. The pool is alright, if you don’t mind snakes falling from the trees (yes, that happened). And the beach is not what you would expect from a beach either. It’s kind of close to the pier but far from the nice beaches which are in the nothern part of the island. I cannot stress this enough, do not waste your money here and also do not let those so-called “travel agencies” trick you into staying here.

Great pool and walking distance to night market. But the rooms were horrible. Full of insects, lizards got in, the bed was really uncomfortable with springs poking up. The staff were very helpful and it's saving grace was chilling on the balcony of the bungalow drying after the pool/beach.

Service was good. Access to motorbikes was a smooth and convenient process. The pool had a nice atmosphere, good music, clean pool, although the price for drinks at the bar was quite steep. The beach was clean and nice location. Not too many people to socialize with. The water in our taps was rusty for 2 days (redish / brown water) which was unsettling.

The dorms are over priced, no got water and cockroaches in the room. Above all the staff at the reception was so very arrogant and not at all friendly, when we arrived at the hotel he threatened us that he will cancel our booking since we booked at very low cost as compared to other guests. He was having very negative mindset towards us being 'Indians'. The property location is nice though but the staff the reception people are so very worse. I hope owner gets them replaced.

I paid 30$ for Bungalow to be right on the beach with big swimming pool, beach bar and many great atmosphere and activities. People who work there is amazing and I'm highly recommend. It looks like new people who manage this village doing great job. Food at the resort is amazing, they organize tours around island or you can rent motorbike here. Recommend !!!!

Do not stay here! We checked in, looked inside and left to book a different hotel. Dead worms, bugs and cockroaches all over the beds. Brown water. Did not feel comfortable in there.
