We were surprised when we arrived as we were shown to a room with a fantastic beach view! The room was basic but nice, it was very quiet the only noises were the animals, there were lots of birds, dogs and lizards ????

The owner was really nice, he checked us in very quickly and was always around if we had any issues.

We arrived a 2 hours early due to the ferry arrival time, we were allowed to drop our bags in but could not enter the room as they said it was needing to be cleaned, supposedly, and ready for us by 2pm, which we were fine with as the check in time was 2. When we got into the room, a wave of egg hit us, the bed had a multiple large stains on, wine, blood maybe and a recognisable white stain. When we were sat relaxing, contemplating whether it is what is is or to bail, we were all bitten multiple times from the possibly bed bugs. We needed to then freshen up, unfortunately the water genuinely made us feel more dirty and it was extremely metallic along with the ant infestation behind the toilet/ shower. The three of us knew it was a very cheap, simple, basic accommodation and if you’re coming to have a wild party one and not fussed about the things above then go ahead as it is very cheap, but we feel the basic minimum level of cleanliness was not there, as my girlfriend wiped the toilet seat with a dry tissue and a lot of dirt came off.. which just shows minimal effort of cleaning. All sounds pretty dramatic but just saying as honestly as it was, and I guess a little warning to fellow travellers.

Never ended up staying but they helped us cancel when we realised we booked the right place. legends!

Hard bed. Stained sheets. No where to put your luggage. Water does smell like sulfer.

Spent 7 nights here at the seaside bungalow right at the beach(literally 10m from the sea) and couldn't be happier. Staff and owner were very nice and helpful. Food was great for the price! If I have to come up with something negative about this great room it would be that mattress' where bit hard, but it really didn't bother me. Also the water pressure was low but still very useable. Loved every day here!

The staffs are super friendly and very nice. They are all smile and always ready to help or support us. The food are delicious, clean and not expensive. The location is located super perfect. Only 12-15 min by walk from the pier. Quite and cozy. It seems like we have own beach. The sea water is clean. Really good for take some rest and recharge my life.

We had a great time at the Seagate Beach Resort. Both owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. We had the A1 bungalow directly at the seafront and since we were travelling with a toddler, the owners went out of their way to accommodate us and bought a brand new baby crib. Of course we read the older reviews here, but let me assure you that you'll have a good time here as long as you have some basic manners and don't behave like stereotypical full-moon-party jocks.
