Great hotel with the most amazing staff. We had the suite which had a beautiful view, big room and a lot of privacy. Breakfast was really good. Definitely would recommend going here!

Stayed in Koh Lanta for 10+ days, moved around different hotels, the Houben has the best room conditions with unbeatable sea view, which make the stay enjoyable 24/7 and every dollar paid for the room well spent. Renovation is mainly white, so it is easy to see how clean it is. Spacious room with a huge bed, good quality furniture, large in-suite hot bath/jacuzzi, floor-to-ceiling windows facing the prefect sunset sea view, plus very friendly staff, nice pool, good restaurant all exceeded our expectation.

Most other hotels that have a sea view require you go out on the beach to see it. But it it is always hot during the day time and full of mosquitos during the night, so you end up only enjoy the view for a very short time and most of the day staying in poorly lighted small room, or you have to pay much more to get a sea view room. While every room in the Houben is a sea view room.

Thanks to the fact that the Houben is on the hill top and it is modern hotel, it had stronger shower power. Another lesson learned--hotels located closer to the busier district also have at least twice as many bugs than the Houben which is located in the quieter part of the island.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Fantastic room with a stunning sea view. We could actually watch the sunset from our bed. So romantic! It was so clean too and the staff were so helpful all the time.
Restaurant served beautifully cooked food. So tasty.

After we traveled around Thailand for 5weeks, luckily we found this hotel, most comfortable, relaxing and peaceful. Spacious room, super helpful staffs and stunning sunset.
We extend stay 2 times, cannot say goodbye. Be sure to return again.

Spacious rooms, in room jacuzzi is a plus. The sunsets are incredible. Super helpful staff! The internet and ac did cut out, but the team was able to get it back up. Would stay here again. Nearby town was a bit dead. Located next to the best beaches on the island.

We stayed here for 7 nights via the sandbox program. We had a pick-up with a very comfortable private transfer from Phuket aiport. Our room were very spacious and clean. We had a beautiful view over the sea. There were just a few more guests apart of us.
The people working their were very friendly. We were greeted very friendly from the manager and coworkers. Special thanks to Mr. Anucha Kaewhin who helped us with every question we had before our flight and providing us with information about the our apply for the Thailand-Pass.
Be aware that you do not have so many tv Programms- but who is here two watch tv?! You can connect your notebook via hdmi to the tv and with the ????I????I from the hotel watch everything you want…
There was no breakfast buffet and but you can choose some from your small but very good menu your freshly prepared meal and the nice staff will bring it freshly for you. Additionally the give you some watermelon and dragonfruit or Ananas. We did not miss anything. The food you can order in the restaurant is also very tasty.

Stunning sea view from the 3rd floors.
Perfect for long relaxation.
The room is great, maybe the toilet should be close and we didn't find the hot water for the jacuzzi.
The bed is perfect.
The red swimming pool I don't know what to think about it ahah. Not my taste but unique for sure. Kinda lot of chemical inside by the way.
Highly recomended love the view for the sunset.
