This place is just perfect. Really great value for money. The rooms are clean and very confortable. They clean the room every day, change your towels and give you fresh water. The staff is so nice! There is a beautiful swimming pool and a great beach by the stairs. The hotel is well situated, 5 minutes of walk from the town center and 10min walk from the other main beach. There is a good breakfast (toasts and jam) included with every single room. The “included breakfast” that you can add will let you chose one of the breakfast on the restaurant menu.
There is a good restaurant if you want to stay at the hotel to eat. With a really nice view on the see.
I highly recommend this place.

Had a very good stay here. Super affordable in comparison to other hotels and well worth the money. The pool area is really nice, perfect place to just chill out.

The rooms were not perfect but still very decent for the price we payed. We stayed here on two different occasions and the second time we payed an extra 100 baht for an AC-room, which was well worth it in my opinion.

The staff were friendly and helpful, there was always someone to ask for things which was convenient. Overall very happy with my stay!

Amazing view, relaxing place. The rooms were clean. Helpful staff members. We had a welcome drink! The staffs helped us book tours as well. Swimming pool and a private beach at the hotel were rewarding.

For the price this is a nice place. The breakfast is small but fine, the scooters for rent are ok, could maybe use update. No TV stations unless you speak Thai. The pool is great and the grounds well kept. The hotel help are all very gracious and helpful. Would recommend!

The hotel is located few minutes away from the centre; it is located in a good location with an easy access to convenient store, shopping market m, restaurant and most importantly the beach being just a step or two away with a nice view. The staff are friendly, polite and speaks very good English. But having said that; the rooms are very outdated, towels are not clean, the bed is rock solid, the water from the hand washing sink and shower is salty as it felt like sea water, we bought few big bottles of water from the bar to wash our face, hands and to brush our teeth. The price of the hotel is competitive as we paid £52 which is 2,298 Baht per night for a Bunglow w/ Garden View room; but when walking down there were 2 or 3 villas which looked far better than the rest of the room and bunglows at the Saladan Beach Resort Hotel for a few GBP £ / few hundred Baht more. Overall, it was a OK stay just because of the politeness, friendliness and good service from the staff at the Resort.

Under new management, every one speak English with a smile. A welcome drink is waiting for you.They will help you for what ever you need .... I was there during the low season (end of August until October 19th) for that reason no restaurant no bar.. but it is ok..many restaurants around and 40 seconds walk there's a bar outside of the resort on your left and 2 minutes walk on your right and Lanta marke short walk and you do have a good size fridge with a good size freezer. You can also cook .. wood BBQ ..they can heat up your food also .. infinity good size pool in front of the sea. Very nice sunset on your left and for the sunrise you need to walk straight to the beach, the sunrise will be on your right. The cleaning ladies are very good and very nice. (They don't speak English but they do the effort to understand you.) The rooms are a very good size and also the bathroom with hot water. I had air conditioning room, it work perfectly. Beds are comfy. Veey good size of terrace with 2 chairs and a table. Aloa something to hang your wet close. If you want to have piece and quite, go there during the months I've been. I was very happy to have the pool to my self. Rent scooter from them. Many repairs was done on the resort.
If you want to play volleyball with the locals, walk left first Street on your right walk 3 for 4 minutes they will be there, they are very nice people you will have fun. The resort also offer laundry service at 50baht per kilo. If you think it is to expensive, on your way to the main Street, next to a hotel,she doing it at 40baht per kilo and 4 baht per piece for ironing. She use very good smell of soap. From the resort to go back to the airport 250baht but if you have extra luggages ad another 100baht. For private tail boat, ask the new manager, she has very good connection. Also of you want to go on private fishing trip. I seriously would choose her instead of all the tour company out there. For the resort I gave 3 stars but for the employees at the front desk and the cleaning ladies, I give 4.5 stars. You will like them.

For a really cheap price just to be near Saladan Pier I think its fine. Not looking for a staycation.

The place was unmaintained possibly because its low season and I think we were the only guest around. If you plan to use their pool, I've attached photo below. We ended up just lounging on the chairs (some are broken????) and watching the nice sunset. The staff were pleasant.
