Really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are basic but very comfortable and clean. Perfect location from one of the best beaches I've been to in Thailand. Not over run with tourists or litter.

Gorgeous rooms and at a great price, unfortunately there was no clean running water throughout the resort. When we reported to the front desk that our sink, shower and toilet was running brown water, we were given a very apathetic response. Furthermore, the resort refused to refund us so we reported this issue to the online hotel booking service we used and got our money back We left immediately the next morning. WiFi was decent for Thai standards.

The resort bar and restaurant are on the beach and are decked out with tasteful beachcomber style decorations. Only member of staff in reception was so friendly. I would recommend it for families and people who want a modern bungalow. We will definately stay there again and recommend it to all our friends.

The hotel was pretty good. The grounds are maintained and its in an excellent area on Koh Lanta with a pretty beach. As we were toward the end of teh peak season prices were reduced which made this an good value. The owners and staff couldnt have been more friendly and helpful.

We thought the price we paid for the room (2600 baht per night) was a little bit high. The room is small but you can use the big terrase outside. The position is great The hotel is in front of a long and desert beach where during the nights you have thousands of choice to where to go for dinner in front of the sea.

I would highly recommend it for group. The child pool is integrated with the big pool and I find thet to be a reallt good think as you can bath together with your kids. Beach chairs on the beach and at the pool were always available despite the resort being fully booked.

Booking AND having paid for this place half a year ahead, it did cause us several weeks of concern. Because the communication was absolutely poor. My husband sent emails that were left unresponded, thinking that we had been ripped off. Finally, nearer the departure date a small message came that they were expecting us.
A very comfortable new van was sent to pick us up from the airport for 2500bath.
The arrival was a bit weird to say the least. Instead of getting a welcoming smile and being immediately guided to our room, the owner started fussing through a bunch of papers, it seemed like he couldn't find our booking. Then he started pulling out his calculator, and telling us that we still needed to pay but he didn't seem sure what.(this while we had paid the whole seven days long before) Anyway, after another 15min we were finally taken to our room.
The garden is thé best asset this hotel has. It is beautifully kept by an old Thai man who worked in it from early morning till late at night. The only one who said a friendly hello every day by the way.
We had a little house in the back, the room itself was good for the price and the area. Good airco, Wi-Fi connection so so, spacious enough, we where in the back, away from the noisy road. But the bed...oh the bed was sooo rock hard. Ok, Thai mattresses tend to be hard but this one really interfered with our sleep.
Then...The breakfast. Such a shame. These people have a great location going for themselves. A beautiful large restaurant right by one of the cosiest beaches Koh Lanta has to offer. The ultra basic breakfast is not worth paying 250 bath for. Pancakes out of a package(yuk!), bread, jam, precooked eggs(my husband asked for a freshly baked egg, didn't get one), zwan sausages. The only fresh things were same pineapple and watermelon every day and some egg noodle with cabbage.
They didn't even have proper coffee.
You have 5 staff standing around, but can't manage to bake a fresh egg.Hmm.
When we went asking for a beach towel(also in need of replacement, my husbands tore while he was drying himself) it was written down in a book next to your name.
The restaurant itself is Halal, no alcohol available. The owners are Muslim. Because the breakfast was so poor we did not even try it. There are a lot of good restaurants nearby, were we even ended up having breakfast, even though ours was included.
Conclusion: I read reviews from people who came off season and paid 18$, that's a real bargain. You should definitely do it.
We paid around 120€ a night over newyear so highest season. Which wasnt much either regarding the time of year.
I still give it 3 stars because of the beautiful garden which is so much more charming than any comparable hotel around that price in the area.
To the management I would like to say, you could make sooo much more out of this hotel if you would teach your staff how to smile, learn some basic english and get some fresh food into your restaurant, just small little things that don't have to cost much. Do you really need an empty restaurants with prayer room by the seafront while sunbeds and pool are by the noisy road? Make use of your assets.
