What an absolute dream stay. The small, quaint atmosphere was a perfect getaway from the tourist-heavy areas of Thailand. Roughly 7-8 beautiful cabins, right off the beach. The smaller operation allowed management to provide a personal and caring individualized experience. A delicious breakfast was provided every morning as we relaxed on the front porch of the cabin. The location allowed us to wander by foot through Ko Lanta in any direction. The Baan Pakgasri Hideaway was truly blissfulness through simplicity.

Worst place we stayed in on Ko Lanta.
They told us the only standard room they have is just next to the street and parking area. We upgraded the next day to the highest categorie.
We had no hot water in the new room for the whole stay. We had to use other rooms for showers. No one gave us updates. The last day we had to move cause they overbooked the hotel. We refused but they did not give us any other option. They send us to the hotel next door where we had no running water in the morning. Worst part is that they lied to us several times about everything. We told him that we booked our transfer from there already and its early in the morning (we have a lot of luggage as I am moving into another country permanently). He promised us he would be there to tell the driver to pick us up from the other hotel. Luckily we did not trust any word coming out of his mouth anymore and walked the way back with all our luggage at 6.30 am. He did not show up!
On top both of the hotels need some work done urgently!
We stayed in several other hotels and resorts in low season but did never see this kind of disrespect towards paying customers.

We loved our stay, the rooms are clean and at one step from the beach which is huge and extremely beautiful. The breakfast is served straight on your balcony and rooms with sea view have a jacuzzi with big window in front of the sea. It’s possible to use the swimming pool from Miami hotel just 300mt on the left and around is full of nice restaurants and little bars. It’s a paradise, especially coming from the busy and touristic Phi Phi. The front desk can book diving and boat trips for you and there’s boat-taxi-scooter booking with competitive prices. It was an amazing experience, the staff is great and extremely helpful and polite.

Rooms in the hotel are very clean. Great welcome by the nice people working there. There were chairs on the beach in front of the hotel for you to use. Best (most expensive) rooms fronting ocean. Perfect for reading and breakfast. The location can't be beat. We sure will go back.

The rooms were very well kept. The concierge desk couldn't do enough for us. The traffic is easy to navigate. I personally think the price is a bit high considering the competition. At the cleanliness - everywhere there was nothing to fault. The bathroom is an amazing feature of the room.

Small operation, very good customer service, nice beach and view. Came during low season so the rate were amazing. Simple rooms but comfy. Bed a bit on the firm side. No complaints from me but my wife prefer a softer set.

The resort itself has been great from beginning to end. You order your breakfast from the reception in the morning and it will be served in 10 minutes to your veranda. As soon as we arrived, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was nice but beach was diety.
