It’s a shame that the employees feel they need to scam people out of their hard earned cash when people are already willing to go there and buy drinks and talk to the locals. You think you are building a raport/relationships with them and then half an hour later you’ve been swindled out of ridiculous amounts of money. I understand people need to make money but it just feels unethical and downright nasty. The bar itself is nice and music is good, shame about the employees. If I could leave one bit of advise, DO NOT TALK TO THE EMPLOYEES OR PLAY THEIR GAMES. They are not your friend.

I can’t find blue lagoon on google maps but I know this place also owns that location. Such sweet staff and prices for drinks are good! Feel like it’s the only place on that strip where you aren’t surrounded by “bar girls”. Great place to people watch and listen to some nice tunes????

Was a cool place to hang out until I paid 2000 baht and the waitress pocketed rhe change of 500 baht. Don't go there they will try and over charge you.......

Good bar to have a few drinks in on bangla road and the staff couldn’t do enough for us, Pan made a real effort for my birthday ???? ????????

Blackhorse Bar is a MUST when visiting Patong!! This was our first time. It was the perfect spot to stop in for the best drinks and service in all of Thailand. The location was perfect for people watching and being able to get away from the crazy crowd for a while. The DJ was on point and he takes requests. All the ladies working there treated you like long time friends. We played drinking games with them and just had the absolute best time! We stopped in on our way there and our way out. I highly recommend stopping by!

BLACK HORSE ON BANGLA IS SELLING WATER FOR LADY DRINKS.Complete Ripoff. I caught them selling water instead of tequila when I bought a couple of the staff a shot. They all dissappeared when i grabbed one of the shots they were holding and found out it was water and called In a bouncer if I tried to push the issue. BEWARE.
