You know this is an important Temple when it's sign-posted from Hua Hin and has Police stationed on this site.
Perhaps it's trademark is the unusual Buddha Statue which attracts the most visitors. But do go and see the two Temple buildings here, both of which are open to go inside.
There are a few stalls around the site selling souvenirs and drinks/snacks. I also noticed that wheelchairs are provided for visitors requiring them.
There is plenty of space for motorcycle parking within the Temple grounds.

Very pretty place! Really nice surrounding areas and the sound of the gongs was very relaxing. Beautiful golden Buddha in the distance behind the Monk's statue. The status of the Monk is very detailed and artistically beautiful! Play area for kids and the cafe there makes really nice mocha frappes!

Fantastic temple to visit. Paying homage to the monk Mongkol that lived to be a hundred. The biggest statue of a monk in the world u0026 very impressive. Gift shops. Places to eat. Free entrance u0026 parking.

I went to this temple at Sunday morning with my friends. The location is clean sufficiently and well managed. Parking area is provided enough for people. Public facilities is available properly. This place has awesome view. This temple is one of the most famous temple in Thailand.

A popular place for Buddhists with a very huge monk statue. Super busy on the weekend and public holiday. There are big fish in the lake where the locals go there to feed (but obviously they are overfed and do not want to eat so basically the bread just make the water dirty). Try the boat noodle near the coffee shop on the left. It’s quite good. Bring a hat, sunglasses, wear long sleeve as it’s quite hot.

Beautiful Statues of Luang Phor Thuat in a large space to pray u0026 walk around. There are statues of Ai Tong for offerings as well. Cafe serves nice food u0026 drinks after walking around.
