I tried three of the vegetarian shops today (July 16 2020) in Hua Hin and this one is the best in my opinion ! Most diverse and fresh range of dishes, cheaper and good kao dum ('black' rice w riceberry). Oops I was too hungry to take a pic before digging in hehe

i went in this morning, before 9pm, and the food was already cold or felt like left over from yesterday. The choices were not so green: two tofu trays, one bamboo shoot, and a few mixed veggies with chile. I tried one tofu and one bamboo shoot (curry?). They were both tasteless. :/ Maybe it’s sacrilege to add salt? It costs 40 baht for purple(!) rice and two sides. I don’t know any other cost because there is no menu.

I had a much better experience and Reaun Thong, just one block over. Fresher, tastier, absolutely clear communication, much better seating, and generally less run down.

Very simple vegetarian thai food available here.
Like a simple shop.

For some reason, at this little shophouse vegetarian restaurant, practically every dish offered is ridiculously good-tasting, belying their somewhat pedestrian appearance. They open in the early hours of the morning, and by noon the prepared food items, there being about 8-10 trays on display at the front of the shop, are generally sold out. The noodles last a bit longer, as they stock a larger quantity of this popular dish.

Highly, wholeheartedly recommended!

Great food! Rice and two choices for only 25b, plus there were amazing vegan snacks for sale for 20b. Much better than the one down the street, which charged 40b for smaller.

Delicious food and very friendly staff with large portions under 100baht with two mock meats and two veg dishes with rice. Fully vegan
