The Mod Guesthouse has an exceptional location as it the rooms are literally over the ocean. The sound of the ocean will lull you to sleep. Theres a nice outdoor seating area overlooking the water. The guesthouse is in the middle of the areas of Hua Hin most people would be interested in and although there is no direct access to the beach, the main beach area is only a few minutes walk away. There was a vaguely sewery smell in the bathroom, but it wasnt a dealbreaker as the price and location were excellent. Rooms are small but in decent condition and reasonably clean.

I think it's a vintage style guest house ????.
No car park, the room is not quite comfortable only 2 things I like are the location and see view balcony.

Lovely and cheap guesthouse in the touristic centre of Hua Hin, run by friendly staff. Nice rooms, very clean and daily change of sheets and towels.
The fan rooms haven’t got hot water and unfortunately the ones on the back are not reached by internet. The guesthouse has a beautiful sea view, though people who need silence to sleep might have problems with the noise of the waves (above all in the fan rooms that are the ones closer to the sea). They rent motorbikes too. I’d go back.

Good price, nice breeze from the sea and no need the air-condition. Staffs are friendly. It's my favorite place to come and quiet my mind

Guest house era colonial wooden hand built look old but well maintained. Can't see the whole structure from entrance just small alley before you see two storey rooms. The amazing you can bring the motorcycle and park infront your door. Complete with AC and water heater and comfort bed. Sandwich between new luxury hotels near seaside big verandah for hanging out or mingle with other tenants.

Quaint rustic original wooden structure on stilts typical of seafront jetty dwellings in the region.
This gem of a place offers not only seaviews with an upper level balcony breezy area to relax but also waves crashing right beneath the stilt raised floor of rooms on lower level towards the end of the guesthouse.

Overpriced. Bare facilities. No fridge.Most sites quote around £13-£15 a night but we paid nearer £30! Rooms are tiny and drab.Don't be fooled by the pictures on the site.
