I had an excellent stay. It was very peaceful, relaxing, and homey. It was exactly what I was looking for - to be away from the city for a bit. The view of the beach and especially the sunrise from the balcony was just amazing. The sound of the waves was very relaxing. Too bad I was there when the kitchen was closed (Mondays and Tuesdays) but still 5 stars!! Their dogs Magnus and Sally were also great company!

The German couple who’s running the Khao Tao Beach Lodge is very pet friendly. They have two dogs on their own and you’re allowed to bring your pet. The German cuisine is very tasty and rich in variety. If you’re really hungry, try the eggs-bacon-sausage breakfast. The bacon is thin and crispy, delicious!

Another great German meal with some of the best views in hua hin.

Schnitzel highly recommended along with many other specials. Some specials can be ordered in advance, check the Facebook page.

Expensive and slow service but very nice atmosphere/view. Try to visit early morning or late afternoon so you can walk the short beach. Good photo opportunities.

???? Comfortable and delicious. The menu here is chockablock with European and Thai dishes. We had schnitzel and spatzle all round and they were great. Pro tip, order the mushroom sauce. The mushrooms fell in love with white wine and cognac, who knew????.Our service here was impeccable. Looking forward to many more visits.

I love the chill and cozy vibes at this hotel????It’s located right next to the beach, the owners and their dogs were really friendly, and they serve delicious german sausages. The live music band on Sunday evening is pretty great as well. However, the blanket was to thin, it could be kinda cold at night???? They charge THB200 when we check in with our dog, and if the room is not messy when we check out, they won’t charge extra???? Overall its a pet friendly and chilling hotel, my dog had a great time there as well????????
