InterContinental Hua Hin Resort, an IHG Hotel

We checked into a Club Premium room at this beautiful resort in early April 2022. The room is spacious and comes with all the amenities one would expect from a resort at this price. We particularly like the huge balcony where you can lie down on its huge sofa, chatting, surf the net while letting the sea breeze chill you down. The only minor complain with our room is that it is at an angle and hence only gets a tiny glimpse of the ocean.

As for the resort as a whole, the highlights must be its beach front location as well as the large swimming pool(s). It is just so cool to sit around, zipping a cold drink, and watching the activities around you. By the way, the welcome drink at this resort is one of the best we have had. On the other hand, the food at its the beach-front restaurant was only so-so: the pizza we ordered was a bit soggy, and they used the cheap sea-bass for our fish-and chips. Service was also slow.

Overall we are very pleased with our experiences at this resort and would recommend it strongly. The only thing to be beware of is parking (if you drive) – if you are not used to parking in very tight space, it could be a lot of pressure on you when there are cars behind you.

I had a wonderful stay. I was in a big beautiful suite across the road from the beach with a view of the pool and the sea. Fantastic bed and the room was very quiet. I slept so good. Wonderful rain shower. Staff is excellent all very friendly and helpful. The beach in front of the resort is very nice. The location is excellent and adjoins the Bluport Resort mall.

The location and rooms are both great. The breakfast remains one of the best. Unfortunately the rest of the food was extremely disappointing. We paid for the beach buffet which was poor with lots of flies (left me with an upset stomach). We complained and did get a reduction in the bill. Next day we had room service which was also average. All in all an unexpectedly poor food experience. Staff friendly and helpful throughout.

Good location. just opposite to Blue Port shopping mall. Good facilities. Many choices for breakfast but fu0026b staff were confusing. It took an hour just to get a cup of coffee and we got wrong order. No problem with other departments.
I like the swimming pool here. It was a large swimming pool and there was a big jaguzzi near the beach front. The club lounge was quite small but not very crowded.
Overall it was a good stay with intercontinental here.

Hi team,

Unfortunately, I have to say the stay was a bit disappointing for the below reasons:

1. I shared with the front desk team that it was a special celebration trip for my family so an upgrade would be really good. The team was nice to offer me an upgrade to a "pool view" room. However, it was at the end of the building and we could barely see the pool from the room, there was only a giant white wall to be honest.
2. We requested for a baby cot and the team shared that they ran out of baby cot and had to purchase new ones and i just had to wait??? This is unheard of... I mean, after all, it is InterCon and not HolidayExpress right...
3. As there is no babycot available, which nobody shared with me and i was only able to find out by calling "0", I then requested for another set of blankets as my baby now was going to sleep on the sofa. After 1 hour, which was way past my baby's bed time, it was still not delivered.....

I know I might not be considered as an "Elite" for IHG, but I do have Elite memberships with other brands. I have never experienced anything close to this.

Amazing hotel, I've stayed here a few times. Best service out of all hotels, perhaps rivalled by Anantara in service, but location is a lot better. The breakfast is great too. Their ice cream is really good too, you should try it while swimming in the pool under the hot sun.

This property never disappoints, we love the new additions to this already great location.
The new bar is excellent, with tasteful decor, great cocktails, and staff.
A special thanks to Natty at check-in who is very professional and knowledgeable and greets you with a great smile.
Also thanks to Ning at the pool bar who is very attentive and courteous.
We were happy to see some new additions and changes to the food menu at the well managed restaurant near the beach (cannot think of the name right now)
Next time we will try the new restaurant beside the new bar.
All in all, a great place to stay.
