We had been wanting to try the Happy Pig for a long time. Finally we got the chance. We ordered the grilled Pork Sticks/Kebabs and a half-back of BBQ ribs. Frankly speaking, the grilled pork dishes tasted "ok", but the pork kebabs seemed a bit undercooked.
Service was friendly and nice. We were the only customers from 6:30-7:30 pm on a Covid weekend.
As for atmosphere, this restaurant is "open air" with a similar feeling to a Soi 94 beer bar. Loud rock music was playing on the sound system and we found that it made the experience a bit stressful rather than relaxed. For dessert, there were limited options. We rate the total experience between a 3.5 and 4 stars.
Maybe we will come back if business picks up after Covid. Still, in the meantime, we will keep searching for good BBQ ribs in Huahin.
