Baan Manthana House

I stayed one night at the Baan Manthana Hotel during the Thai "make up" Songkran holiday long weekend. Originally, I tried to book on AGODA and although AGODA instantly executed payment from my debit card, AGODA never confirmed the transaction and when I arrived at the hotel, the hotel did not have my reservation. Luckily, they had one room available of the type I wanted.

The front desk lady was perfectly professional and gave me the room at about the same price as AGODA.

Due to the holiday weekend, the price was 1,100 Baht for a large room with one, large bed. I would expect that during normal times, a room there might be between 600 and 800 Baht.

As I got the last available room in the spec I wanted, I could not compare with other rooms. Still, my room was very clean and the bathroom was spacious. The A/C in the room worked great and the hot water in the shower with strong water pressure was very good.

I selected this hotel because of "free parking". But be warned that during full occupancy, the parking is really tight.

The hotel is located downtown near the Nightmarket/Walking Street and seems to be within convenient walking distance to the Hilton Hotel area bar district.

All in all, I am satisfied with my stay at Baan Manthana and if I can get a room here next time for under 800 Baht, I will be even more happy.

Good hotel for short stay in Hua Hin. Close to the night market.

Great hotel to stay and it's good while you travels without vehicle. Plenty of great places to eat in the vicinity. Daily cleaning was good. Bus transfer across road which was very convienent. Location was great if you want to be close enough walking distance to the beach and bars and restaurants.

The distance from Huan Hin railway station to this hotel is just a 4mins walking distance. Hotel is set back from the road so not noise affected although only 100 meters from the busy night market. The rooms in the renewated building are clean an spacious. I would recommend this hotel if you want a no frills price tag and be nice and central in Hua Hin.

Great budget hotel in the centre of Hua Hin . It's got everything but gimmicks e.g. good sized rooms, great air-con, good bathroom and powerful shower, large comfy queen sized bed, good t.v., friendly staff, u0026 clean. Perfect if you want a hotel as a base to wash and sleep and not expect unnecessary gimmicks and distractions. There's even a lovely enclosed clean pool for cooling off with a quick dip if needed. Superb hotel for the money. Would highly recommend if youre not the cocktail bar, 'hotel-hangaround' type.

Rooms are quite run down but all amenities work. ***y thanks to the review of susankt99 for the tip re All In Hua Hin for breakfast and the laundry lady by the side of the hotel. The main access road to the beach is about 15 minute walk and the nightlife area slightly closer.

Good, clean budget hotel in the heart of Hua Hin town. Easy walking distance to many local attractions. Small swimming pool ideal for kids but no restaurant facilities or in room dining.
Many restaurants located in the nearby Sois and ideal to tour the Night Market in the adjacent Sois.
Free car parking is limited and can become full especially at weekends and holidays
