This is a must-try in Hat Yai if you're looking for good Thai cuisine. The dishes are delicious and the owner/workers are just all around friendly and accommodating. The fish served is really fresh, the tom yum omelette is to die for, and the stir fried vegetables are yummy. We ordered 8 dishes total, including 2 fish for 8 people and it was just the right amount of food.

The only hiccup we had here was that we had to wait over an hour to get a table since we had a pretty large group (8 people). The owner, Aoy, was great. She did her best to get our order going before our table was available so we barely had to wait for our food once we were seated.

Note, the restaurant takes reservations if you call before-hand and I would definitely recommend doing so if you have a party of 5 or more.

Lastly, if you're driving, do not get on the Thanon Niphatuthit 3 (the street that the store is on) as it is a narrow alley and gets blocked off at one end by local stalls sometimes. Park nearby and walk through the alley instead!

Located in small alley, but worth to visit. Tasty Chinese seafood and traditional southern Thai food. I recommend abalone, fried minced pork, spring roll (especially minced taro stuffed), cabbage sauteed with deep fried crispy pork.

Best place to eat and it’s definitely worth driving around trying to find parking spot. Staff is friendly. Food was amazing.

This restaurant is very popular by the local customer, just 5 or 6 tables run from lunch to dinner

Kitchen shown on the front, chef is so friendly and cooking skill is great

No parking!! Very narrow alley.
Recommend for deep fried minced pork.

Way way way too salty, probably the 2nd saltiest restaurant in Hatyai I have ever visited.

Price are reasonable, waiting time a bit long.

Fried minced pork and sweet u0026 sour chicken; Batters too thick, and meat is so little. Like chewing on thin slice of cookie.

Taste good, but too rich, too salty.

The food is okay, they do automatically dial down the spice if you are a foreigner and do not tell them that you are okay with spice.

Fine to combine this with a visit to Kim yong market or if you happen to be in the area.

For solo travellers the average eater will only be able to finish 2 dishes

This place is a bit hidden in a soi near the Kim Yong market. It was quite busy when we went, but we got a table after a few minutes wait. Food came quickly.
Eggrolls were good. The taro eggrolls were a bit strange. I guess we're not used to them.
Fried seafood (talay klung) was good. I liked this one the best.
Nam pla cabbage with crunchy pork was just okay.
Fried minced pork patty was good. A bit too oily.
All in all, it was okay. Try it if you have a lot of time in town.
