Good authentic thai food, good variety of choices, peaceful ambience with a view of the standing Buddha. The kerabu mango fish, fried frog legs, sashimi prawn and tomyum was tasty.

We came early when the kitchen is getting started. Service was fast. Food: taste but need to add more flavour. Maybe they see us as foreigners and try to be mild. Boss can speak mandarin too.

a short u0026 comprehensive review about this food eatery!

Location: Call for a GRAB (app) car, pretty accessible but because the exterior is so unassuming, it literally is a shack by the roadside so don’t drive by too fast!

Service: we were served by a really outspoken server (presumably the boss?) and she speaks good Chinese and we were able to communicate what we would like to have for lunch easily.

Their signature dishes on the menu are those with pictures. The irony is that we didn’t order a fish dish. Haha.

Food: We had the crab fried rice, kailan stir fry, a regular omelette, a spicy kangkong veg dish, prawns with tamarind sauce and. tom Yam soup. the portions were good, just nice for a party of 3. The fried rice was very tasty, veg was crunchy. i usually gauge the ability of a chef from how an omelette dish turns out and man, this chef scored. The Tom Yam soup could have had more punch to it though.

4 out of 5 for this place. the flies were annoying although understandably, it was because of the surroundings and location. wash everything down with a bottle of beer!

We are skeptical about the restaurant/place in the first place as it looks like a residential house instead of restaurant. Fish is fresh and overall food is ok, price is reasonable. The staff is friendly and the lady owner is able to communicate in mandarin.

Yummy food with a friendly owner! It was a great comfort to have an English speaking owner/waitress. Very clean shop. The taste was on point. Although the food was slightly on the expensive side, the taste was too good that paying that much wasn't a pain at all. Took a 15 minutes drive from the city centre but worth the journey. Overall it is a wonderful experience! Worth every penny....w
