We rode a van from Ekamai Bus Station cost 100 baht for 1:45 mns trip going to Bangsaen beach then a drop off at main roundabout beach area, tried looking for a hotel having a swimming pool luckily Bangsaen Resort Hotel is infront of the roundabout.
The first room we look upon was seaview room thou the view looks good but sunset heat passing through the room so we tried the pool view on the first floor better shaded place but the view was covered by trees there is nothing to see in short we came up to the ground floor room paid 1,600 baht.
This place is not that attractive as the picture was with old TV, hard bed and old paint yet it is clean the smell is like a cloth dried out from the rain and yes indeed there is a tiny cockroach.
Breakfast is simple food for Asian like plain or fried rice, egg, hotdogs, forridge and vegetable soup there also have vegetable salad and toast bread with butter or berries of course with selection of coffee, tea or orange juice.
We enjoy the place though, i love to swim by the way enjoyed the pool cause the beach water color is dirt brown we never swim there, worth remembering sea breeze morning breakfast, mostly the fastfood, convenient store, seafoods,massage, drug store, hospital ,van terminal are nearby walking distance.
Note:
Hotel with pool are mostly far away from the beach or either a long walk from the main road, yet expensive i gave four star for convenient traveling time and area accessibility to almost everything we needed.
We stayed at the ground floor resort Wifi is great it does work for the three of us with same username and password not like most hotel in Pattaya only one person can avail wifi connection.
