A lot of temples around this area. So quiet as well. However, there’s not much vendors that sells food here. So you might starve walking around, bring a water bottle too. ????????

Beautiful and large temple.
Free entry fee.
On the main temple in the first picture, they have stories about Buddha history and Buddha principles which it’s easy to understanding.

Nice relaxing place. Good history lesson if you like reading all the signs. A bit hot in the afternoon, maybe best to visit early morning. Gardens are well maintained and beautiful. A very relaxing environment.

A huge, beautiful and peaceful temple. It appears to be a teaching centre for monks who live in wood cottages amongst tje trees and monkeys. Thete is one large stupa that holds an exhibition explaining the basic tenets of Buddhism.

This was my 3rd visit to Wat Yan. I took some visitors with me to particularly see the exhibition which I had loved on previous visits. Unfortunately this time not so good. There was no lighting of the exhibition and therefore couldnt read about the exhibits nor see them. I asked if the lights could be turned on but was told no. Disappointing. It's an interesting complex but was starting to look run down and lacking attention.
