Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here, comparable to Japanese restaurants in bangkok! Ingredients were top in quality too, nothing to complain about that! However, that does come with a steep price, where the average dish is B300+ (ended up spending B900-1000 per person for 4 dishes, 2 people)
The Wagyu bowl was underwhelming for the price, with the bowl being a lot smaller than what we thought was worth. There were only 4 thin pieces of beef and a ton of rice, with the price of B750–you can get a really superior matsuzaka/wagyu beef bowl in top Japanese restaurants in Bangkok for a similar price.
The rolls were good, nothing special— the salmon “sandwich” was creative and pleasant but I feel there was a bit too much rice in the dish as it was quite soggy when we got ours.
Overall pleasant experience, with the restaurant having a really nice vibe and is well decorated. Would come again.
