Walk-in guests, we came asking for the room quite late at night in PPlus since they had 24/7 reception and free parking for car.
Unfortunately I didn’t have the feeling of being welcomed as the receptionists seem not to be willing to talk, even a hello or smile or sell their room, short answers only when we asked; no eager question/proposal on what we wanted to book, how many nights, breakfast included or not, etc… We are a couple and they gave us a twin room. Also my fault when assuming they would give us a double so I didn’t ask.
The highlight of my experience is when our bank shut down the system, our cards or bank transfer didn’t works. I asked if we could pay in the morning, the receptionist just answer no in cold and asked us to find ATM to get cash. Honestly I felt a bit awkward during the time and unexpectedly surprised on how the staff handled a booking, since your hotel looked pretty big and professional. In the end, we managed to pay and stayed cause it was too late after a long drive and we left early in the next morning anyway.
The room has zero sound proof from the lobbies; music at night and morning from the bars and we were waken up around 6-7 am as people next door using the lift and talking really loud.
Under Covid affections, I wouldn’t want to complain much about the facilities and cleanness due to lack of staffs, common issues in all hotels. Totally understood because I also worked in hospitality industry. My feedback is mostly about the receptionists because they are ones giving first impression to your guests and staff’s friendliness and professional actions could make up for something else which may be not perfect during the stay.
