Everyday is Fryday Fish & Chips Restaurant

Lost a customer. Staff (young thai man) were some of the rudest I've seen in Thailand after living here for many years. We were the only customers and he was not only very rude but the food this time was low quality. The fish and chips looked decent but only to find the fish was water logged and mushy. With all the bars and restaurants closing due to loss business, good staff are plentiful. When your staff treat customers so poorly, they will stop spending money at your business. Especially when there is no tourists and your business relies on expats who live here, you might want to hire the right people.

Really well made/done and served- I really enjoyed this piece of British flavor- run to this place and fill up.

I read some positive reviews of this place and decided to stop by on my last night here. Small place with every table occupied. Observing the customers showed a lot of happy faces so I knew this would be good. Got my fish and chips to go and had a lovely chat with the owner Ian, pictured below. The cod served was huge and cooked to perfection. Chips were on spot. Lovely experience and good luck Ian. Recommended

Today Jan 21, 2020. I haven't been to this restaurant in 2 years, today the daytime staff were very rude to me, the owner is not there only 1 bored Thai lady and 1 very angry young Thai man who spoke in very harsh manner to me with no respect because I spilled a tiny bit of water next to my seat on the floor. I will never go again to this restaurant such RUDE STAFF. I've never seen staff this rude ever before and I've lived in Thailand 14 years.
Before I meet the owner, a very good guy from Scotland but he's hired a terrible day staff. Such horrible day time staff this restaurant.

Lovely clean place selling more than fish u0026 chips. Mostly English menu with pies, burgers, gammon and pork steaks plus sandwiches or just chips. The choice is yours. Highly recommended, and it's all freshly cooked while you wait.

Just walked into your place of business because of all the good things i have read about your fish n chips. I walk in and sah hi to the one girl working in there and she doesnt even respond. I say hi again and she acts like im bothering her. Needless to say, i walked right out. I don't care how good your product is, but if your staff are as rude as her, you're going to lose business. You might want to talk to her about not being rude as f*** to customers.

The food is really nice it's just a shame about one lady member of staff who is quite rude when taking your order and check your change when you pay as on 2 occasions our change was 200 baht short. I believe this is a scam as both times I never said how much it was short by but she came back with the 200 baht. I wonder how many times a night she gets away with it.
