It was my first time in a elephant sanctuary so I can’t really compare but from the experience I got I’m really glad I went there. The staff is super-friendly( as must Thai people anyhow) and the elephants are such gracious animals. We took a half day experience with feeding them, playing and wading them in the mud-pool. It was great fun. It also included a meal and they gave a tote bag as a gift. They also showed how they make paper out of elephant poop ????. Recommend going in mining time (6:30 pickup from hotel) cause usually there are less people so you have more attention from the elephants ????
The same group has sanctuary’s also in Chang Mai ( most famous and biggest, with a lot of elephants) Phuket and ko Samui.

Amazing amazing amazing! Very hands on and lots of time with the elephants. Worth every penny. After our trip to Africa we don't go to zoos and are very careful with anything that involves animals, this I believe is ethical and they truly do see to care for these beautiful animals.

Amazing. You must go if you are in Pattaya. A bit expensive but hopefully the money goes towards rehabilitating the elephants. Wear a swimsuit and bring a towel and change of clothes. You play with the elephants, feed them, give them a mud bath, and then swim with them. Great experience.

Best experience ever.. You feed the elephants, pat them and also take them on a walk before getting down and dirty in the mud.. They love mud massaged into their skin and the off to the lake to scan and wash it off... Loved the trip a must do in Thailand...

Absolutely amazing! You shouldn't ride elephants if you love them. If you want to spend time with those amazing creatures, you can go to elephant jungle sanctuary which has many places around Thailand. The one in Pattaya was brilliant. They teach you all about elephants and you get to feed, bath them...
