After reading some of the other reviews here, I was compelled to leave one of my own. I was there with my family last month for about three weeks. The 7 Eleven on site was large (by Thailand standards) and had everything you'd expect. The room we stayed in was clean, updated, and 100% functional. Was it what you'd expect in a 5 Star accommodation? Of course not, but our 2BR unit was more than enough for a family of four. I don't recall the exact amount we payed, but I think we definitely got our money's worth. Also, it's like 250m to the beach.

The negatives:

There was a distinct sewer smell one the first floor of the other wing of the building we stayed in. To avoid this on the path to the pool, we walked that way on our floor and took the stairs.

Some of the pool access points seemed to be permanently locked. This was more of an annoyance than anything else.

There is not enough parking here for sure.

One continuous issue after another

1. Minimal parking space to the ratio of the apartment rooms. Therefore everyone is trying to squeeze in and cars are parked very close and chaotically.

2. Corridors flooded with water and smelt damp and mouldy.

3. The room itself also smelt mouldy and damp, the windows must have not been open and aerated for a very long time.

4. Shower had not been used - after a busy day from travelling we wanted a nice shower. The temperature was not working therefore we had no hot water or much of water supply.

5. Notified the booking organiser there was a continuous fire alarm from next door, due to this we were unable to sleep. Also notified about the shower and was rudely answered back. When we’re the ones paying for the room we felt neglected and unheard.

6. Only staying one night luckily, but won’t get much sleep or relaxation with lack of shower and sleep from the noise disturbance.

Minimal requirement was never met. We should have driven right out of the premises after an unprofessional and unorganised experience before even entering the room and should never have given it the benefit of doubt.

The hotel rooms were dirty the sheets unclean , the aircon leaked down wall and the poolside balcony was completely rusted and a danger.

Cheap condos, made to look good on the outside, but messed up on the inside, totally out of control And foreigners have no sense of time, no ethics, no common sense, no time to sleep, no real estate dealers here are anxious to take care of like money or parasites, no professional services, everyone feels like an amateur because they don't have a license

Damp and moldy. Washing machine was full of water and mosquitos. All the beds are missing the frames, just a box spring and mattress so low to the ground, it was hard getting in and out.
Lighting is inadequate at best.
One key for three adults even after numerous requests for an extra key. No WIFI. Furniture in tatters. Shelves missing on all bulit-ins.
The water is hot but the controls are useless! You either get scalded or are forced to take a cold shower. The hot water stopped working on the second day.
The very worse is that the towels were threadbare and stained.
There is no maid service.
We payed for a week but left after five nights. Pay an extra 330 Batt and get a better place.
Edit: My understanding is that these units are individually owned. The management company and owners vary.

The swimming poll and the baby facilities at swimming pool.
The common parts like corridors walls and doors were not clean. The baby facilities at swimming pool are old and without maintenance, some are not working and one of the slide is broken so dangerous for the children to be used.

Found Atlantis condo really great to stay place is fantastic swimming pool is good clean and clear loved my four weeks there
