After a long day of touring Bangkok we stumbled upon The Dishes Restaurant. The menu was unfamiliar to many of the people in our group, but we really enjoyed our meal together. We had ostrich meat, oysters, squid, and shrimp.

The price was reasonable and the food tasted good. The only reason why it didn't get 5 stars was because the prawn in the tom yam was not fresh.

The fried sweet and sour sea bass was fresh and delicious, the crab fried rice was plain and didn't taste that great. The seafood tom yam was fantastic, way better than Nara.

I would return the next time I'm at asiatique.

Surprisingly good food but about 5 times as much as it is worth. We just wanted plain noodles for our 2 year old while the adults ordered a variety. The little bowl of noodles got charged the full carbonara prices which was unnecessary. Walk around to the open air square and food and prices will be much better.

The grilled river prawns were fresh and delicious. However the crab with black pepper sauce was a fail! Felt like the crab was mixed with the pepper sauce without even stir-frying.. Don't order the crabs here!

Good quality seafood! The grilled sea bass tastes good! Grill seafood platter is value for money! It cost 2000bht only for a crab, 6 bug prawn, a whole squid, a whole sea bass and quite a lot mussels and one more type of shellfish! The drawback is that beer is a bit expensive. 350bht for 1 pint Stella.

After walking around Asiatique, this is a nice- AC and indoor- place to sit comfortably and eat. A bit pricey compared to other places in thailand but this is a famous tourist spot (asiatique).

Attentive staff and good service. Must try deep fried fish and the sauce mixes very well.
