Amazing friendly staff, they go above and beyond to help tourists get HONEST taxis, they have exchanged my money many times for smaller bills without complaining like other hotels have, they have held my stuff and are very trusting. The rooms are very clean, in great walking distance to many coffee shops and restaurants without the hustle and bustle of being in the heart of the city.

I would absolutely stay here again and I recommend it to anyone looking to stay here.

oh and the pool is phenomenal. The massages are too!

Today, I welcome my customers at lunch time with the signature menu Chicken Rice. The food is excellence both taste and quality including reasonable price.

Also, the staff are willing to serve very fast.
I will come back again very soon.

This hotel truly deserves a five-star rating as it provided five star services. It's staff were the most friendliest and helpful. It's food was excellent with generous portions. It's facilities were functioning to perfection. The prices were reasonable. The views were panoramic. And they were very honest to the extent of finding u0026 returning my sun glasses that I forgot in my packing. I would highly recommend Montien Riverside Hotel anytime to those visiting Bangkok. I will return for future stays here.

The hotel’s quiet and clean, located on Rama III Road and closing to the Chaopraya River with good public access to the city center. There’re very spacious rooms and very attentive staff. The hotel is little old but excellent room renovation with good service. We’ve got a very nice view on a high floor room, private, clean and luxury. All facilities was very impressed upon arrival to the front office area for checking-in to outside seeing around the hotel. We can find the nice view of private and clean pool is on the 6th floor. The hotel officers are very nice and friendly, served us with warm welcome, helping all the time being there.

For daily breakfast is available on the 1st floor; very nice restaurant with International Buffet. Don’t miss for various foods, seasonal Thai fruits corners and salad bar with fresh and good test!

It was pleasantly surprised, the accommodation was great for us. Hope to back again in the near future 

Don't let the old design fool you. The ppace is well maintained, and it is located very close to many historic sites, so it is great for anyone looking to take in the sights. Also, the Chicken-rice is damn good (better than most Michelin 1-star, bib gourmand in the inner city). No wonder it's been a specialty here for decades.

Dated but clean and luxurious. The view is phenomenal. Dimsum buffet is nice and the pastries are good but the most popular item is Hainanese chicken rice. If you sit outdoor expect the service to be slow since the kithen is miles away. Understandable.

A little old 5 star hotel near the river. I chose it because it was the cheapest 5 star riverside hotel. Location: away from the city centre, away from the nearest BTS skytrain station, no river ferry station nearby, but the area was quiet with good air quality. A big Terminal 21 shopping mall just next door for your shopping and the Asiatique complex with many shops, reastaurants and fun attractions within a short driving distance. Staff is friendly and helpful. Not so many guests around at this time if the year. The room had a very nice riverview. It was very big, very clean, with good but a bit dated furniture. Well built and maintained, but it doesn't have the feel of modern 5 star hotels for those who go for it. AC efficient but a bit noisy. Bed very big but the mattress could be more comfortable as well as the pillows. Very big luxurious bathroom with marbles around, a bathtub, and a shower cabin but the shower has only a fixed shower head above and the toilet does not have a jet sprayer for those who use it. Good restaurant with good food and a good medium size swimming pool. The buffet breakfast was very good, in very nice surroundings and very reasonably priced.
Conclusion : It's definitely worth its very competitive price but if you want more modern facilities and a more central location you need to pay more (50%-300%, a lot more actually). Very good, recommended for the price conscious traveller who wants views, quiet location and big spatious rooms.
